Bright, graceful and versatile, the flute is equally at home in orchestras, bands and contemporary music. Learning the flute develops breath control, posture and musical sensitivity. The flute is an old instrument - formerly made from wood. It is a high instrument, playing only from the treble clef and has many beautiful parts written for it.

Recommended starting age: 7-9+.
